Lenny Kravitz has reportedly signed on for an appearance at the upcoming CMT Awards. According to MTV, Lenny will perform live alongside country giant Jason Aldean for an as-yet-unspecified song at the event. This year's CMT Awards is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. They will air live on CMT from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Coldplay drummer Will Champion appears in the latest episode of HBO's hit fantasy series, Game Of Thrones. Champion can briefly be seen as a drummer during a rowdy banquet scene. He did not have a speaking part in the episode. His Game Of Thrones appearance was first revealed last November, while the episode aired Sunday.

Carrie Underwood will release a concert DVD compiled of footage from her latest tour. The Blown Away Tour: LIVE is due in stores on August 13. The footage for the DVD was taken from an Ontario, California show in March. According to CMT, 20 songs from the show will make it onto the disc.
