Carrie Underwood will return to the stage for the first time after last year’s accident with a performance at the upcoming 53rd Annual ACM Awards. The country superstar will be performing a new single at the Las Vegas show on April 15. The 35-year-old country singer teased the new music Sunday night on Instagram, and told her fans that her brand-new single will be unveiled on Wednesday on the same platform. Underwood has been lying low after suffering a serious fall outside her Nashville-area home in November, which required surgery on her wrist and stitches in her face. Teasing her ACM announcement, Underwood shared the first photo of her full face since the accident, with an eye (it looks like hers) with glitter running underneath, like tears. Underwood is also nominated for two ACM awards at this year’s event: female vocalist of the year and vocal event of the year, for her duet with Keith Urban on “The Fighter.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
