Carrie Underwood has released the music video for her latest single “Cry Pretty.” The country superstar debuted the new visual during the most recent episode of American Idol, which aired Sunday evening. The new video features Underwood dealing with her emotions both backstage and at home, including a scene where she cries in the shower. However, her concerns seem to melt away when she emerges onstage to perform the track. “Cry Pretty” is the title track to Underwood’s upcoming new album, which is slated for release on September 14. The new studio effort, which will be the singer’s sixth, will serve as the follow up to 2015’s Storyteller. Underwood debuted “Cry Pretty” back in April, during her performance at the ACM Awards.
