Avril Lavigne Worked With Bonnie McKee On New Album

Avril Lavigne says that she is currently finishing up work on her upcoming new album, revealing that she worked with renowned songwriter Bonnie McKee on new music. “Loved working with the super talented, smart, independent hawt blonde @bonniemckee on this record,” Lavigne wrote, adding, “Finishing touches.” McKee has songwriting credits on a number of hit pop tunes, including Katy Perry’s “Roar” and “Teenage Dream” and Britney Spears’ “Hold It Against Me.” “Personal, dear, intimate, dramatic, raw, powerful, strong and unexpected,” is how Lavigne described the album in January. “This record is a true emotional journey.” She last released her self-titled fifth album in 2013. Avril Lavigne debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, selling 44,000 copies in its first week, the lowest first-week sales of Lavigne’s career. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
