Production is underway on a new Broadway Musical exploring the life of the nation’s most beloved pop star, the late Michael Jackson. Presently untitled, the play is set to be written by 2-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage. The show, which will head to Broadway circa 2020, will be directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winning director Christopher Wheeldon. Produced by The Michael Jackson estate, in collaboration with Columbia Live Stage Musical, the score of the play will feature several massive hits from the star’s beloved career.
