A Minneapolis middle school is receiving a gift to honor hometown legend, Prince. WCCO-TV reports the late musician’s ex-wife, Manuela Testolini, and close friend Andre Cymone donated a music room at Anwatin Middle School in honor of the late musician. The Perfect World Foundation, founded by Testonlini, is reportedly donating 18 brand new keyboards, guitars, amplifiers, percussion and acoustic instruments. Testonlini explained, “He wanted to impact the community, and he did for so long. He was an activist, he was a revolutionary, he was a philanthropist. We want to make sure that is elevated and kept at the front.” Cymone told WCCO-TV “Think he would be really truly honestly appreciative. I mean, it’s great to go play his music and to do all of that, and that’s wonderful, and it’s a beautiful thing for his musical legacy, but I think the extension to that is to give back to kids.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
