In a new song from her forthcoming album Walls, Barbra Streisand is questioning President Donald Trump, and pleading for change. “How do you sleep when the world keeps turning? / All that we built has come undone / How do you sleep when the world is burning? / Everyone answers to someone,” the legendary singer sings in “Don’t Lie to Me,” released Thursday. Streissand tells Billboard why she changed the title of the song, which was originally named “What’s On My Mind.” “Then I had an idea for the cover, me against this wall. The wall of society, the walls of this presidency, the walls that obstruct justice. Yet there’s a light coming in and hope for the future. We have to grow as a nation, we just have to grow out of this and see the light; that’s all I can say.” Walls, her first album of primarily original material since 2005, is set to drop on November 2.
