The Eagles have announced plans to release two new Legacy box sets that will feature the band’s entire albums and live catalog, as well as b-sides, singles and videos. The band will release two versions of the Legacy box set, due on November 2 via Rhino Entertainment. The first version will have 12 CDs and will include all seven of the band’s studio albums, three live albums, and a compilation of singles and b-sides. It also includes two concert videos– “Hell Freezes Over” (DVD) and “Farewell Tour: Live From Melbourne” (Blu-ray). The band will also release a vinyl version of Legacy, which will have all the music from the CDs on 15 LPs, but the videos will be unavailable. Both versions will be accompanied by a 54-page hardbound book that’s filled with rare and unseen photos, memorabilia, and artwork that encompasses the band’s entire career. The CD set is available for $179.98, while the vinyl set for $349.98. A limited number of exclusive Eagles Legacy T-Shirt bundles are also available for pre-order in the band’s official online store.
