It would seem that the “Bad Blood” between popstars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift is long gone, with Perry having recently applauded Swift for breaking the silence about her political ideologies. Perry, who was attending the amfAR Gala on Thursday, October 18, spoke to Variety, stating her keen appreciation for Swift’s efforts toward starting a conversation about voting and being politically educated, saying: “She’s setting a great example.” In a lengthy post to Instagram earlier this month, Swift expressed her political preferences and encouraged fans to vote in the upcoming midterm elections, writing: “I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives.
