Meghan Trainor is set to perform during the halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving day. The performance serve as the kick off to the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign. The proceeds from the show will go to benefit the homeless and hungry, and to buy Christmas toys for millions of children. “More than 40 million people live in poverty, and the money raised during the Red Kettle Campaign helps The Salvation Army give those in need a chance at a new life,” said the Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter. “Meghan has an electric energy about her, one that is perfectly matched with the dire need to bring attention to the work that The Salvation Army is doing,” said Charlotte Jones Anderson, executive vice president and chief brand officer for the Cowboys. The Red Kettle Campaign has raised millions in more than two decades. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
