Ariana Grande has broken Mariah Carey’s record for most streams of a song in the U.K. in a week. According to official charts, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter’s track “7 Ring/s” was streamed 16.9 million times last week. Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” had 15.3 million plays in a week last December. “7 Rings” is the new single from Grande’s upcoming album, thank u, next. Shortly after its release, rappers Soulja Boy and Princess Nokia accused Grande of plagiarism.
