A music video for the R&B-pop collaboration featuring Sam Smith and Normani has made its debut. “Dancing With a Stranger”, released earlier this month, became a hit within days, earning 80 million streams worldwide. The video, which shows the duo grapple with loneliness in a sleek London mansion, was directed by Vaughan Arnell. Smith explained the duet in a new interview. “I said to her, ‘Do you wanna hear this song?’ I played her the song. I saw her Billboard performance,” he told Beats 1. “When I saw her do that on the Billboard Awards, I was like, ‘Wow.’ She’s a triple threat. She’s special. And you can tell that she works really hard.” He added, “When she came into the studio, she just jumped on the song there and then with me in the room.
