Norah Jones recently spoke with Rolling Stone and revealed the process behind the making of her forthcoming LP, Begin Again. Composed of a set of seven singles, Begin Again features collaborations with several artists, including the likes of Jeff Tweedy and Thomas Bartlett. “I felt inspired to record and try different things,” Jones said, adding that all the tracks were produced in a “fun” and “low-pressure” atmosphere. “It’s a great way to collaborate with other people. Just a day or three in the studio and that’s it,” she continued. Her first project since 2016’s Day Breaks, the LP will be released in digital, vinyl & CD formats on April 12 and is available for pre-order now. Jones is also gearing up for an Australian-American tour, which will kick off at the Palais Theatre in Australia on the same day as the release of the LP. The tour will bring her to the U.S on June 18, where she will play 7 dates before heading for a show at The Orpheum in Vancouver, Canada. The trek will come to a close with three performances at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub in Anchorage, Alaska. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
