Manhattan Criminal Court has sentenced Taylor Swift’s accused stalker Roger Alvarado to six months in jail for breaking into her townhouse in New York City in April last year. The 22-year-old fan of the pop star pleaded guilty to criminal contempt and attempted burglary, Page Six reports. As the Homestead, Florida native has already nearly served the jail term, he reportedly plans to return to Florida to serve five years’ probation. Alvarado is also required to undergo a mental-health program. Police officers who arrived at Swift’s house found the stalker asleep in her bedroom after having showered in her absence.
