Legendary songstress Dionne Warwick held an intimate, invite-only party at MAMO restaurant in downtown Manhattan last Wednesday to celebrate the upcoming release of her latest studio album, She’s Back. Warwick also took part in a Q&A with local TV journalist Oji Obiekwe during the event, revealing that Brian McKnight, Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Kenny Lattimore all contributed to the album. Asked about receiving a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at a May 11 ceremony, Warwick said, “It makes me feel very good that I’m finally being recognized for my body of work,” “It’s taken a minute to recognize it, but they finally did, and I’m thrilled about it,” she added.
