Lana Del Rey’s Grammy dress is from the mall

One of the best things about award shows is the outfits! Seeing all your favorite celebrities dressed to the nines, wearing Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace. The expensive dream looks, regardless if they’re drab or fab, is nothing short of a conversation starter.
The Grammys did not disappoint in the fashion arena–and it’s worth noting that outlandish outfits are frequent at this award show because musicians just do it better in my opinion.
For example, Billy Porter was decked head to toe in glam.

While musicians were flashing their custom-designed gowns and suits on the red carpet… Lana Del Ray took a more fiscal approach, snagging a beautiful accessible to most of the public.
Why is that? Because Lana Del Ray purchased her dress from the mall!
And is absolutely fabulous. Who says you need a $3,000 gown to look like a million bucks!
Lana’s dress was a last-minute impulse purchase that she snagged for just $500!
(I know I say ‘just’ but in comparison to the other outfits struttin’ down the red carpet, Lana’s a STEAL of a DEAL)
The Grammy-nominated singer told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet that she already had a dress for the awards show, but her world changed when she spotted her sparkly gown.
“I actually had another dress,” Lana admitted. “Then my boyfriend and I were getting a belt for him at the mall and I saw this and I loved it.”
And honestly! How could she NOT LOVE IT?! I mean, LOOK AT HER! SHE’S STUNNING!
