I mean, literally EVERYONE had already changed it..

But STILL!  The Knack guitar player Bert Averre posted a new version of The Knack’s one and only hit from 1977,  “My Sharona” to tackle the coronavirus.

Averre admits that he and fellow Knack guitarist Prescott Niles were a little late to the party with the new version..  But better late than never.

“Some people have asked whether we were going to get around to doing our own Sharona/Corona parody song – because apparently there aren’t enough of them,” Averre says while giving some instructions on how to play the song yourself while isolated in your own home.

The guitarists wrap the video with a message of solidarity.  Check it out.
