Is the band finally getting back together? One Direction bandmates are teasing at a possible reunion.

And, of course, fans are going wild.

The British boy band broke thousands of hearts across the world when it took a hiatus on 2015, which was about a year after member Zayn Malik officially quit the group.

But there may be hope for Directioners.

Dedicated fans noticed last weekend the official One Direction Twitter account seemed to follow Malik’s account once again. They also noticed that members Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan also refollowed the former band member.

To add on to the excitement, Payne joined DJ Alesso on an Instagram Live Sunday — which seemed to spark some more hope in fans. Questions were pouring in the chat function about a possible 1D reunion.

“There’s so many One Direction questions,” Alesso said to Payne. “But I feel like I don’t want to put you on the spot because I know you can’t say too much.”

Payne then admitted that many of the One Direction bandmates are currently in London and trying to arrange a FaceTime meet up.

“I can’t say too much,” Payne said. “Louis told me off for revealing a bit of our plans the other day, so you’re going to have the group chat telling me off.”

Back in 2017, Horan said he was almost certain a reunion would happen — and with 2020 being the band’s 10-year reunion, the timing just feels right.
