Governor Gary Herbert is attempting to tackle the opioid epidemic from numerous angles. One is by pushing Utah doctors to prescribe fewer opioid statewide. Also, the state of Utah is encouraging prescription companies to discover and produce prescriptions that aren't as addictive and destructive as opioids.  KSL NewsRadio's Maria Shilaos hosted Let Me Speak to the Governor.
