Bon Jovi paid tribute to the late Chuck Berry with a cover of his iconic song “Johnny B. Goode” during their recent performance at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. “The first time I ever sang in a talent competition, in the mid-’70s sometime, it was this song,” Jon Bon Jovi told the crowd. “Mr. Berry, thank you for everything. God bless you.” Berry passed away on March 18 at the age of 90. A cause of death for the rock ‘n’ icon has yet to be revealed. In 1986 Berry became one of the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and he entered The Blues Foundation’s Blues Hall of Fame in 1985, the same year he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
