Lorde is one of many big name acts that have signed on to pay tribute to Fleetwood Mac during the upcoming MusiCares fundraiser concert. The show will take place on January 26 at Radio City Music Hall in New York, just days before the Grammys. “It’s a tremendous honor to be the first band to receive the MusiCares Person of the Year award,” Mick Fleetwood wrote in a statement. “Independently and together, we all set off on a journey to spend our lives as artists, songwriters and musicians. None of us did it alone and there were plenty of helping hands along the way, so we applaud and celebrate MusiCares’ guiding principles of giving musicians a helping hand and a place to turn in times of need.” The band’s original lineup will be on hand to perform at the event. Harry Styles, John Legend, Keith Urban, Haim and OneRepublic are also set to pay tribute to the band. Proceeds will go to MusiCares, which provides healthcare services for musicians. High-end ticket packages range from $17,500 to $75,000 and include multiple seats, gifts and more. Individual seats start at $1,750 and go up to $8,500. Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com.
