Billie Joe Armstrong’s side project The Longshot has dropped its debut album Love Is For Losers. The band released their 11-song debut LP along with their first official music video for the title track. All but one of the tracks were written by Armstrong the band revealed on its Instagram page. “Let’s have some fun. Raise some hell and do bad things!!” Billie Joe said on Instagram. Green Day musician Jeff Matika, on bass and vocals, David S. Field, on drums, and Kevin Preston, on guitar, join Billie Joe Armstrong to complete The Longshot line-up. Earlier this week, Billie Joe announced a UK tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of American Idiot. He is also in the midst of crafting a film adaptation of the album.
