Katy Perry has opened up about her experiences of going through “situational depression” in an interview with the Vogue. The August issue of Vogue Australia carries the cover story of the 33-year-old singer. In her candid interview with the magazine, she also discusses love and returning to her religious roots. “I have had bouts of situational depression and my heart was broken last year because, unknowingly, I put so much validity in the reaction of the public, and the public didn’t react in the way I had expected to . which broke my heart,” she said, referring to the poor response she received to her 2017 album Witness. “The biggest lie that we’ve ever been sold is that we as artists have to stay in pain to create,” according to Perry, who is the daughter of Pentecostal pastors. Perry, whose real name is Katheryn Hudson, said her mother Mary Hudson was not a big fan of her music. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
