Princess Nokia is accusing Ariana Grande of copying from her 1992 mixtape Mine in the just released song “7 Rings.” Nokia posted a video on Twitter of herself listening to “7 Rings” and switching to “Mine” with a comment, “Hmm, do that sound familiar to you? Because that sounds really familiar to me. Oh my God. Ain’t that the little song I made about brown women and their hair? Sounds about white.” The 26-year-old rapper tagged Grande in her tweet. Interested parties can compare between the two lyrics. Mine track: “Rock my many styles then go natural for the summer/ Hair blowing in the hummer/ Flip the weave, I am a stunner/ It’s mine, I bought it/It’s mine, I bought it.” 7 rings track: “My wrist, stop watchin’, my neck is flossin’/Make big deposits, my gloss poppin’/You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it/I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it.” Nokia’s posts have since been deleted. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
