Iconic pop-rock band Hootie & the Blowfish have added a second show at the Madison Square Garden as part of their “Group Therapy Tour.” Last December, the band had announced their plans to return to road in 2019, their first full-scale tour in more than a decade. For the “Group Therapy Tour,” the band will get direct support from special guests Barenaked Ladies. The band has announced the addition of a second Madison Square Garden date on Sunday, August 11 after the initial Saturday, August 10 date tickets were sold out. The band, formed by Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, will visit 44 cities on the tour, kicking off on Thursday, May 30 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and concluding on Friday, September 13 at Columbia, South Carolina. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, February 15.
