Bruno Mars and Cardi B set a record for the highest single-night gross in the 20 year history of State Farm Arena by collecting $6.473 million from their performance during Super Bowl weekend. Garth Brooks grossed $6.634 million from seven shows at the venue during September 19-27, 2014. Mars and Cardi B performed duets of “Finesse (Remix)” and “Please Me” during the show. In all, 14,152 tickets were sold when Super Bowl weekend reached fever pitch on Saturday, February 2. In the run up to the weekend, rapper Ludacris grossed $1.3 million from 11,149 sold out tickets, Billboard Boxscore reports.
