Santana has shared a new track “Los Invisibles,” the first single from upcoming album Africa Speaks. Carlos Santana teams up with his current band, including his wife Cindy Backman Santana on drums and Spanish singer Buika turning up as a guest vocalist. Rick Rubin produced the album. Speaking to Jambands.com earlier this year, Santana said he told Rubin when asked about who the singer would be, “‘I only hear two ladies: Laura Mvula and Buika.’ So Laura sings on one of the songs and everything else was done with Buika, who has this African Flamenco thing.” “Wait until you hear this thing,” Santana also said of Africa Speaks. “From the first note, it gives you total chills.” Santana told ABC Radio that the album will likely include between 14 and 20 tracks out of the 49 songs recorded over a span of ten days at Rubin’s Shangri La Studios in Malibu, California.
