Eric Clapton has announced the lineup of guitarists who will perform at the fifth version of the Crossroads Guitar Festival at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on September 20-21. The list comprises artists from the past and present, including Billy Gibbons, Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Randolph and Sheryl Crow, among others. Though all those named in the list may not take the stage both nights, Clapton will perform on both days. Proceeds from the two-day event will go to The Crossroads Centre, a treatment and education facility founded by Clapton. The first Crossroads Guitar Festival was held in 2004 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Clapton then held the next two festivals at Toyota Park in Chicago in 2007 and 2010, and then moved to Madison Square Garden in New York City for the fourth festival in 2013.
