The original soundtrack album for The Cher Show, the Broadway musical based on singer and actress Cher’s life, will be released digitally on April 12 on Warner Bros. Records. The physical CD album will release on May 10, with pre-order available now, accompanied by an instant download of “If I Could Turn Back Time,” a song from Cher’s album Heart of Stone. The soundtrack features 22 of Cher’s biggest hits, including “If I Could Turn Back Time,” “I Got You Babe,” “Believe,” “The Beat Goes On,” “Bang, Bang,” and “Strong Enough” “I can’t imagine anyone else but this incredible cast performing my songs and telling my story. I truly love them all,” Cher said in a statement, referring to three actresses who play the legendary entertainer at various phases in her life: Stephanie J. Block, Teal Wicks and Micaela Diamond.
