Craft Recordings is set to release the first ever vinyl edition of James Taylor’s 2007 live album One Man Band on June 7. Taylor and Dave O’Donnell produced the album that contains 19 songs, spanning Taylor’s five-decade career. Ryan Smith mastered the 180-gram double-LP vinyl set that will come with a deluxe gatefold jacket. One Man Band was recorded during a three-night stand at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The set features many of Taylor’s hits, including “Something in the Way She Moves,” “Steamroller Blues,” “Sweet Baby James,” “Carolina in My Mind,” “Fire and Rain” and his classic cover of Carole King’s “You’ve Got a Friend”. The record also features Taylor’s intros to the tunes and his numerous anecdotes. One Man Band, originally released as CD/DVD set, reached No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified gold for sales of over 500,000 copies in the U.S. Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
