Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have reportedly broken up. The Coldplay frontman, 42, has been telling friends that their relationship ended last month, according to The Sun. “There was talk of engagement, but now he says they have gone their separate ways, which has come as a real surprise to everyone,” a source told the outlet. The musician was initially linked to the 29-year-old, known for her role in “Fifty Shades of Grey” back in January when they were spotted together at a fashion show. Although they kept quiet about their relationship, the paparazzi would catch the two out and about. The couple also got matching tattoos in September so that kinda seals the deal, right? Johnson spoke out about their romance shortly after, simply saying, “I am very happy.” The two even joined Martin’s ex, Gwyneth Paltrow, in the Maldives and her husband Brad Falchuk to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s. New York site “Page Six” reached out, but reps for both Martin and Johnson did not immediately return our request for comment. But for now, it seems that they have “consciously uncoupled.”
