Mick Jagger may be an unwitting to an question that plagues New Jersey residents.
The Tick Tock Diner in New Jersey serves a sandwich that contains ham, egg, and cheese.
North Jersey residents call it a Taylor Ham. South Jersey residents call it pork roll.
Enter Mick Jagger from stage right.
At a Rolling Stones concert at MetLife Stadium on Saturday the frontman told the crowd what he had for lunch.
“We went to the Tick Tock Diner for a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese with disco fries and a sloppy joe to go!” Mick Jagger said, according to CBS New York.
Diner owner Penelope Spyropoulos has an idea.
The diner may name the sandwich to honor Sir Mick Jagger.
Jagger already has his name in other places.
Various scientists have named three animals in honor of Mick Jagger.
An extinct genus of ungulates, a relative of the modern hippotamus, is named Jaggermeryx naida.
There is trilobite, also extinct, with the name Aegrotocatellus jaggeri.
An extinct snail, Anomphalus jaggerius, is also has a Jagger-inspired name.
Should the sandwich be crowned with the name of a rock n’ roll royalty, it would be one honor that is not extinct.
